Seattle Seahawks
1996: Participated in 15 games as a Seahawk rookie, playing as a reserve defensive end and special teams performer. Credited
with 11 defensive tackles and 13 special teams stops. Also tallied two sacks, one fumble recovery and one pass defensed.
1997: Seized Seattle's starting right end spot in preseason, playing in 13 games with 10 starts, totaling 34 tackles and
four sacks. Recorded first multi-sack game of career at Indianapolis (9/14) with two sacks. Forced fumble vs. San Diego (11/9)
that was recovered by Michael Sinclair for a touchdown.
1998: Started 15 of 16 games for Seahawks, collecting 48 tackles, 6.5 sacks, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.
Tallied first of three multi-sack performances vs. Phila. (9/6) with 1.5 sacks. Totaled two sacks vs. Oakland (11/1) while
leading the defensive line with five tackles and one forced fumble. Forced fumble vs. Indianapolis (11/2( that was returned
14 yards for a game-winning touchdown by Shawn Springs. Talled 1.5 sacks in season finale at Denver (12/27).
1999: Started all 16 games for the first time in his Seattle career, increasing sack total for fourth straight season
with career-high nine sacks to lead team. Also recorded 45 tackles, forced one fumble and notched two passes defensed. Collected
first sack of season in opener vs. Detroit (9/12).

Chicago Bears
2000: Busted out of the gates in first season in Chicago, tallying four sacks in the first five games of the season on
his way to finishing with six sacks. Started the first 14 games of the season before suffering season-ending high right ankle
sprain. Finished the season with 55 tackles. Posted three tackles and a sack in Bears debut at Minnesota (9/3).
2001: Daniels compiled his best NFL season, leading the Bears defensive line with a career-high nine sacks while tying
for lead on defensive line with 72 tackles and three forced fumbles. Started all 16 games for the second time in three seasons.
2002: Persevered through ankle injury and switch from right end to left end to start 13 games and rank second on Bears
with 5.5 sacks. He led defensive line with 64 tackles and recorded 5.5 scks. After suffering left ankle sprain early in the
season, Daniels returned to the starting lineup vs. Green Bay (10/7) posting seven tackles.
2003: Daniels started all 16 games at left defensive end for the Bears, recording 64 tackles, three sacks and one forced
fumble. He also added his first career blocked field goal in the Bears victory over the Oakland Raiders.

Washington Redskins
2004: Daniels played and started five games for the Redskins. He was sidelined early in the season due to a groin injury,
but returned in mid-season. He suffered a dislocated bone in his wrist in Week 12 and was placed on the injured reserve list.
He finished the season with five games played and five starts, eight tackles (five solo), one sack and one fumble recovery.
* In Week 8 vs. Green Bay, Daniels recorded four tackles and one fumble recovery.
* In Week 12 vs. New York Giants, Daniels recorded two solo tackles and a sack before leaving the game with a season-ending
wrist injury.
2005: Daniels was dominant down the stretch for the Redskins. For the season, he recorded 72 tackles, which ties his career-high,
with 45 solo. He led the defense with eight sacks, including six in the Redskins' final three games. He also had two forced
fumbles on the season. Daniels continued to play strong in the postseason, adding a sack in the Redskins' Wild Card win over
the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
* In Week 9 vs. Philadelphia, Daniels logged seven tackles and one sack of Donovan McNabb for a 7-yard loss.
* In Week 15 vs. Dallas, he had a career-high four sacks of QB Drew Bledsoe and one fumble recovery. Daniels' four
sacks tied for the highest singe-game total in team history. He also added five tackles in the game. For his efforts, Daniels
earned NFC Defensive Player of the Week honors.
* In Week 16 vs. New York Giants, he recorded four tackles and one sack of Eli Manning for an 11-yard loss.
* In Week 17 at Philadelphia, Daniels recorded three tackles, one sack of Koy Detmer for a 6-yard loss and one forced
fumble. Daniels' sack of Detmer forced a fumble that was recovered by safety Sean Taylor, who returned it 39 yards for a touchdown
late in the fourth quarter.
* In the Redskins' Wild Card win over Tampa Bay, Daniels logged three tackles and one sack of Chris Simms for a 13-yard
loss.
2006: In his third season in Washington, Daniels played in 16 games with 15 starts. He logged 46 tackles (29 solo) and
three sacks, and recorded his first career interception.
* In Week 4 vs. Jacksonville, Daniels logged his first career interception when he caught a tipped pass by Jaguars
QB Byron Leftwich. He also recorded one sack of Leftwich for a 3-yard loss.
* In Week 6 vs. Tennessee, he recorded six tackles (five solo), one sack of QB Vince Young and one forced fumble.
* In Week 12 vs. Carolina, Daniels recorded five tackles (four solo), one sack of QB Jake Delhomme for a 5-yard loss
and one pass deflection.
* At season's end, Daniels was named co-winner of the B.J. Blanchard Award (along with Santana Moss), given annually
to a Redskins player who best helped the media do its job that season.
2007: Daniels completed his fourth season as a Redskin with 15 starts at left defensive end. He logged 47 tackles (30
solo), 2.5 sacks, four forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.
* In Week 6 at Green Bay, he logged four tackles and a forced fumble, and combined on a half-sack of QB Brett Favre.
* In Week 8 at New England, he logged three tackles, including a sack of QB Tom Brady that resulted in a forced fumble
recovered by the Redskins.
* He recorded a sack of QB Tony Romo in Week 11 at Dallas. He also had four tackles and one pass deflection in the
game.
